TIBA as one of the VOICE’s grantees participated in the linking and learning session coordinated by WiLdaf with the support of VOICE in Zanzibar. This event created a space for Voice grantees to connect and share their experiences from their organizations and the amplify their work from Voice Projects
Linking and learning is vital for fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and collective learning. The event has been facilitated by open dialogues, trust building sessions, and capacity development which has contributed to effectiveness, stronger relationship between grantees and donors but also it has brought clarity and more informed decisions to the organization on things they can improve after the session.
TIBA has gained valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, and a space where grantees can learn from each other’s success and failures, also in gaining insights into strategies and approaches that has proven effective in addressing similar issues.
Additionally, this event has created opportunity for collaboration and collective learning, there were so many lessons to learn from others for example, WOTE SAWA organization is using very strategic ways to secure funds both local and international they have been supported by the government technically through material provisions that were needed in their project such as fish and charcoal.
Furthermore, Grantees have been able to strengthen the relationship and foster understanding of the challenges and innovative solutions that are done in the respective projects
The entire experience has been transformative for us as an organization. as we have not only gain valuable insights and resources but also felt empowered and supported as Voice family members.
As we go back to the office we continue to empower, influence connect and amplify
